  7. Dumps out single pictures and sounds from animation.datatype
  8. objects and/or writes IFF FILM streams to file or clipboard.
  9. A (good -- but not perfect) example how to use the
  10. datatypes classes for reading and writing (reading using
  11. animation.datatype subclasses, picture.datatype and sound.datatype
  12. for writing).

  14. This release (V1.3) fixes incompatibilities with film.datatype (e.g. 
  15. if the frame bitmaps are interleaved), removed the global sample limit
  16. (which was hard-coded to 100000 Bytes) and much more...

  18. Features are:
  19. - Animation information.

  21. - Supports any type of animation for which an animation.datatype
  22.   subclass is installed (e.g. "anim.datatype", "cdxl.datatype",
  23.   "mpegvideo.datatype", "mpegsystem.datatype", "picmovie.datatype",
  24.   "anim.datatype", "film.datatype", "moviesetter.datatype" etc.)

  27. - Creates single frames and/or sounds from the animation.
